P.G.I - Protected Geographical Indication Crete
Grape Variety: Kotsifali, Mandilari
Region: Sloping vineyards from semi–mountainous areas of Heraklion, Crete.
Terroir: Altitude of 400 meters. Cool winds and low humidity during the night..
Oenology: Separate vinification of the two varieties at controlled temperatures of 18o-22oC after the addition of selected yeasts. Skin contact for 6–7 days.
